MISSION
Stars and Stripes Cooperative, SSM is a ministry formed to preserve America’s founding legacies and protect our nation’s Constitutional truths inspired by the Almighty while forming free America. By exploring the 28 Principles of Liberty in depth, families in our cooperatives will discover God’s hand in creating a new nation, directing the path of a birthplace that establishes freedom and prosperity for all.
LEAD
In our homeschool cooperatives, we educate America’s youth, dedicating ourselves to raising future leaders. Our history units teach children about founding mothers and fathers who paved the way for liberty in these lands. Through studying the philosophies of those leaders, families in our cooperatives will in turn gain an understanding of what it takes to lead a free nation.
INSPIRE
Through exploring the 28 Principles of Liberty utilized while establishing this great nation, children will feel inspired by its divinity. They will learn about the forming of the 13 colonies, why America was sought after as a free nation, our coming together to protect our sovereignty, the heroes who risked their lives for our freedoms, and so much more. Families studying these concepts will begin to understand the principles embedded in our Constitution that will keep us free.
EDUCATE
The calling on parents as stewards of their homes is no small task, and homeschooling families understand the great gift we have to educate children ourselves. As parent volunteers we are obliged to minister the principles of freedom to our children and to our neighbors children in the cooperative. We gladly share the responsibility of educating the youth, just as our creator would have us do. “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” – Galatians 6:2. Our founders understood the importance of a solid education grounded in God’s word. Families who study our curriculums will see the clear contrast between modern day and early American education. American Founders studied the great minds of old and internalized their teachings, which is why we too must study those philosophies so that their greatness and application is not lost. In our cooperatives, families will use those principles and philosophies, going forth to lead, inspire, and educate.

ORDINATION
Families who complete a year of ministering with Stars and Stripes, SSM will receive a certificate at our end of year celebrations. Youth will be given diplomas ordaining them as “Rising Constitutionalists”, and parents may inquire into becoming Chapter Leaders to progress in our leadership programs.
